We understand that when you order fishing gear, you’re eager to get out on the water. That’s why we process all orders within 1-2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays).

Returns & Exchanges
At Fish Gear Shop, we stand behind our premium fishing equipment with the same confidence you have when casting your line. While we meticulously inspect every product before shipment, we understand that sometimes gear needs to be returned or exchanged.
Our Return Policy
You may return most items within 15 days of receiving your order for a full refund or exchange.
Non-Returnable Items:
- Apparel Accessories (for hygiene reasons)
- Freshwater Lures and Saltwater Lures (once opened)
- Rain Gear that shows signs of use
- Any item not in its original condition
Return Requirements:
- Items must be unused, in original condition, and in their original packaging
- All tags and protective coverings must be intact
- A copy of your order confirmation or receipt must be included
How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

- Wait for Approval – Our customer service team will review your request within 1-2 business days
- Package Your Item – Once approved, securely pack the item in its original packaging
- Ship Your Return – Send the package to our returns center (address provided in approval email)
- Receive Your Refund/Exchange – We’ll process your request once we receive and inspect the item

- Timing: Refunds are processed within 3-5 business days after we receive your return

- Shipping Costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error
Note: Depending on your financial institution, it may take 5-10 additional business days for the refund to appear on your statement.
Exchanges
- For exchanges of the same value: We’ll ship your replacement item once we receive your return
- For exchanges of higher value, you’ll need to place a new order and pay the difference
- Exchanges are subject to product availability
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped or defective product). We recommend using a trackable shipping service as we cannot be responsible for lost return packages.
Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item, contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the damage and your order number. We’ll arrange for a replacement or refund and cover all associated shipping costs.
